Guide: Using Help

Welcome to the new ActiveLink Help! We've made some improvements to help you find what you need quickly and learn all about using ActiveLink. Read on to find out more.

New Help Start Page

The first time you open the new help, you'll notice something has changed. Help has a brand new start page that includes everything you need to get up and running fast.

Use the new Search bar to get quick answers or browse articles, guides, and videos to find what you want.

We've also added What's New information, featured videos, and links to the latest and most popular articles, so it's easy to stay up-to-date with all the latest features.

Now you can search from anywhere - just type in the Search box at the top of any article.

Videos and Guides

Help still has all the step-by-step articles that tell you how to complete tasks in ActiveLink, but now we've added even more content.

New videos walk you through ActiveLink features and help you get started fast. You'll find videos embedded throughout the Help and you can browse all our video content in the Video Library.

We've also added user-friendly guides (like this one) to help you with more complex tasks, like linking paragraph content and linking an exhibit index. Check out all the guides here.

We're adding new videos all the time, so make sure you check back often.

Improved Navigation

It's easier than ever to find your way around the Help. We've moved the main table of contents to the menu bar at the top of the page.

Every article now has breadcrumb navigation links so you never get lost, and you can find links to related articles on the left, so it's easy to jump to similar content.

If you just want to see everything in one place, click Articles in the Help menu to see a site map that lists all the help articles on one page.

Send Us Feedback

We want to hear from you and now it's easier than ever to let us know what you think. Every help article now includes feedback buttons so you can tell us if an article was helpful.

Go ahead, try it out! Use the buttons below to give us feedback on this guide. And if you want to tell us more, you can always email us at ADHelpFeedback@dfinsolutions.com.
